At Outdoor Research, our heritage is built on tactical innovation and a deep respect for those who serve. Veterans and those who serve have always been part of our story — as teammates, family, and friends — and we recognize the challenges that come with transitioning to life beyond service.

After completing their professional duties, many Veterans embark on a new journey, continuing to pursue meaningful endeavors beyond the uniform. During the critical transition from Active Duty to civilian life, service men and women often face the challenge of reintegrating into a world that can feel unfamiliar. Many struggle to translate their military skill sets into civilian careers and miss the camaraderie and demands of military life.

The outdoors offers a place to reconnect, push boundaries, and find community with like-minded individuals. At Outdoor Research, we recognize the healing power of nature and proudly support organizations like Warrior Expeditions and The Honor Foundation, which help Veterans navigate this transition through therapeutic outdoor experiences.
